Snacking and Compulsive Eating
March 5, 2008 |
Snacking is healthy, if you snack on healthy food. It is better to eat several small meals a day rather than eat three large ones. You will feel less bloated and the stomach will have an easier time. Get snack happy with fruits and veggies. Both are low in calories and supply good nutrition without rancid fat, additives or cholesterol.
You do not have to eat by the clock. Dare to be different. Be adventurous! Eat when you are hungry. But always remember, if you are not hungry, do not eat. Raisins or dates are a great replacement for the sweetness of candy. Dried apples and pears are far more nutritious than junk food. This will take time to get used to. You will crave junk food for a few weeks, but after that, you will be free, you will be choosy and you will love to eat the foods that love you.
